Craig Mello, Nobel Laurate for Physiology or Medine visited Agriancyra booth in IMPPC2023!

Dr. Craig Mello, 2006 Nobel Laurate in Physiology or Medicine, who discovered RNA interference (RNAi) visited Agriancyra booth during IMPPC2023. Agriancyra is a biotech company, started by the Molen PI, Dr. Umut Toprak, and Dr. Gökhan Söylemezoğlu (Ankara University). The company has been dealing on the development on chemical alternatives in pest & disease control.  Basically, the alternative bioproducts developed by the company include Bacillus thuringiensis and baculovirus-based bioinsecticides. The Agriancyra R& D Team has been also working on the development of dsRNA-based and peptide-based biopesticides for a better and sustainable agriculture.
