The Mayor of Keçiören, Mr. Turgut Altınok visited MOLEN! Mayor Altınok met the MOLEN research team and was informed on the capability of the facility on molecular insect research and innovative pest management. Current research in particular on mosquito and fly control, as well as development of chemical alternatives for pest control were also introduced to Mayor Altınok. Professor Mevlüt Emekci, Chair of Dept. of Plant Protection, also welcomed Mayor Altınok.
Keçiören is one of the largest municipal districts in Türkiye and also house to our college and MOLEN! We were so happy to host Mayor Altınok in MOLEN!
