Today, the entire MOLEN team came together to enjoy a warm and cheerful lunch in honor of our summer interns. Beyond the delicious food and lively conversation, the event reflected something much deeper: our growing, evolving lab family and the expanding impact of MOLEN on young scientists across Türkiye.
This summer, our lab had the pleasure of hosting 14 interns and graduate students from 8 different universities across the country. Among them were students from departments of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Biology, and Bioengineering, including institutions such as Ankara University, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Abdullah Gül University, Balıkesir University, Atatürk University, Necmettin Erbakan University, Uludağ University, and even a first-time intern from Aksaray University.
In the photo below, you can see some of the bright minds who have been part of this summer’s journey. From running experiments to joining journal discussions and group meetings, they contributed to the scientific and social fabric of MOLEN in countless ways. As our lab continues to grow, we are proud to serve as a nurturing space for aspiring young researchers—where curiosity meets mentorship, and science is powered by collaboration and connection.
