The International Congress on Invertebrate Pathology and Microbial Control 2024 & 56th Annual Meeting of the Society for Invertebrate Pathology was completed successfully in Vienna, July 28 – Aug. 1, 2024. The meeting and the venue were great and hosted by the Technical University of Vienna. The Molen PI, Dr. Umut Toprak, gave a talk on “Carbon quantum dot nanoparticles increase the efficacy of Spodoptera littoralis nucleopolyhedrovirus suspoemulsion”, which received great attention from the audience as formulation of baculoviruses has always been a hot topic. Umut also moderated a virus session at the meeting. The meeting was completed with great success and memories!
