Stanford Üniversitesitarafından hazırlanan ve Elsevier tarafından yayımlanan “Dünyanın En Etkili Bilim İnsanları (World Ranking of Top 2% Scientists)” listesinin 8. versiyonu (2024 sonuçları) açıklandı. Direktörümüz Prof. Dr. Umut Toprak, daha önceki yıllarda olduğu gibi 2024 yılı listesinde de yer aldı!
Prof. Dr. Umut Toprak şunları söyledi:
“Bu listeye girmiş olmam sadece kişisel bir başarı değil, MOLEN ekibimizin özverili çalışmalarının ve araştırma ortaklarımızla kurduğumuz güçlü iş birliklerinin bir sonucudur. Hiç kuşkusuz bilimsel başarı tesadüf değildir. Ancak başarıyı sadece sayılarla, yani kuantitatif verilerle ölçmek de eksiktir. Bilimsel üretkenliğin temelinde etik, ahlak ve dürüstlük gibi değerler vardır. Bizim için asıl kıymetli olan, bu değerleri koruyarak bilime katkı sağlamaktır.”

The 8th version (2024 results) of the “World Ranking of Top 2% Scientists,” prepared by faculty members of Stanford University and published by Elsevier, has been announced. Our Director, Prof. Dr. Umut Toprak, has once again been included in the list for 2024, as in previous years!
Prof. Dr. Umut Toprak stated:
“Being included in this list is not merely a personal achievement, but rather the result of the dedicated efforts of the entire MOLEN team and the strong collaborations we have established with our research partners. Scientific success is never a coincidence. However, it should not be measured solely by numbers or quantitative data. At the core of true scientific productivity lie values such as ethics, morality, and honesty. For us, what truly matters is contributing to science while upholding these values.”
