Great Success from Solmaz and İdil! “Best student talks from Molen at IMPPC2023!

IMPPC2023 honoured best student oral and poster presentation in the first, second and third ranking! Solmaz, a Ph.D. Student at Molen was awarded the best student talk (first ranking) in the congress, while another member of our team, İdil, who is also an undergrad student, was awarded as the best third student talk by the award committee!  Solmaz’s talk was titled “Can Insulin-like peptide 1a (ILP1a) and Insulin-like peptide 4 (ILP4) be good potential targets for RNAi-based pest control in Leptinotarsa decemlineata (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae)?”, and İdil’s talk was on “The regulation of lipid metabolism in Leptinotarsa decemlineata (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) through RNAi: Insights from gene silencing experiments”.
