Lena graduated from Ankara University, Department of Biology in 2023. During her undergraduate studies, she actively participated in various social responsibility and volunteer programs, including environmental protection and tree planting initiatives with the TEMA Foundation. She also completed an internship at the Pathology Unit of Gazi University Training and Research Hospital, where she gained exposure to applied biomedical research environments. Motivated by her strong interest in molecular biology and genetics, she began her master’s degree in population genetics at Ankara University immediately after graduation. Her training has provided her with hands-on experience in mtDNA-based laboratory techniques, with particular emphasis on careful data analysis and methodological accuracy. Her research interests focus on molecular analysis, genetic variation, and the application of laboratory methods in biological research. Alongside her academic work, she remains committed to continuous learning and professional development. Outside the laboratory, her interests include horse riding, playing chess, and spending time at karaoke and arcade venues.
