The Molen PI, Dr. Umut Toprak has been recently appointed as an Editorial Board Member into Pesticide Biochemistry and Physiology! Umut will cover the topics such as dsRNA, Baculoviruses, and Bacillus thuringiensis-based insecticides and host-pathogen interactions (defense physiology)!
Pesticide Biochemistry and Physiology is one of the leading journals in the field with a CiteScore of 7.6 and an Impact Factor of 4.7. The journal publishes original scientific articles pertaining to the mode of action of plant protection agents such as insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, and similar compounds, including nonlethal pest control agents, biosynthesis of pheromones, hormones, and plant resistance agents. Manuscripts may include a biochemical, physiological, or molecular study for an understanding of comparative toxicology or selective toxicity of both target and nontarget organisms. Particular interest will be given to studies on the molecular biology of pest control, toxicology, and pesticide resistance.
Pesticide Biochemistry and Physiology is published by Elsevier and led by Professor Kun Yan Zhu (Kansas State University, USA) as the Editor-in-Chief. The Editorial Board includes top notch scientists from 13 countries including Turkey with attendance of Umut. For the entire Editorial Board, please click here
