The MOLEN PI, Dr. Umut Toprak will be delivering a keynote talk on “New Generation Biopesticides and Biotechnology” at the Soil Health and Modern Plant Nutrition Techniques event, organized in partnership with EIT Food and Yaşar University through the “Nati00ns” project. The event will take place on 16 May 2024 at Altın Yunus Hotel, Çeşme, İzmir, Turkey.
Nati00ns is working towards the implementation of the EU Soil Mission, which has adopted the goal of “establishing soil health by 2030”, leading to the establishment of 100 “living laboratories”. The event aims to raise awareness, disseminate information, and promote constructive dialogue on soil health issues and resilience strategies in EU member and associate countries.
The program of the event includes talks and discussion sessions with soil and plant experts addressing current issues and an information session on the EU Soil Mission and Living Lab, which will be attended by the National Contact Point.
