Umut is Heading UWMadison!

Seminar tour of the The MOLEN PI, Dr. Umut Toprak continues! This time the destination is Madison, WI! Umut will be speaking at the Dept. of Entomology, University of Wisconsin, Madison on Tuesday April 23, 2024. Umut will be talking on his recent popular seminar topic “A new model to study non-alcoholic fatty liver syndrome and obesity: The Colorado potato beetle”.  As the content receives great attention by the public,  Umut will continue introducing their findings on on Non-alcoholic fatty liver syndrome (NASH) and how the potato beetle provides key hints for development of a therapeutics for NASH, the most severe form of the disease.
