Umut and Laura Musselman (Binghamton University, State University of New York, USA) are organizers of the “From Fat to Fact: Recent Insights on Insect Lipid Metabolism”, which will be held at the Annual Meeting of the Entomological Society of America, St. Louis, on Wednesday Nov 20, 2019 at 01:30 PM- 05:30 PM in Room 267 of America’s Center. The symposium will cover lipid metabolism, from cellular lipid biochemistry to physiology and behavior. Recent insights derived from various approaches will be emphasized. Use of insect models to understand human lipid metabolism disorders and pest control strategies targeting fat body and lipid metabolism will also be highlighted. Fourteen world-wide experts of insect lipid metabolism will deliver keynotes in this exciting event. The speakers and their talks are:
