Our Dean, at the Faculty of Agriculture, Ankara University, Professor Hasan Atar visited MOLEN today! We discussed the new agricultural pests, in particular the brown marmorated stink bug, Halyomorpha halys, which was accidentally introduced into Türkiye. The pest is spread to many regions in Türkiye; however, is a risk, especially in the Blacksea Region, and threatens agricultural plant production. The MOLEN team is currently working on the development of an effective and environmentally friendly pest control strategy against Halyomorpha halys. Dean Atar was informed of the project and met the team. It was a great pleasure for us to be hosting Dean Atar here at MOLEN!
