The President of OYAK Food, Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Group, Mr. Levent Ortakçıer visited Molen! Mr. Ortakçıer met the students studying at MOLEN and was informed on the capability of the facility on molecular insect research. Current ongoing projects together with the studies on the development of chemical alternatives for pest control were also introduced.
The OYAK Food, Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Group includes leading companies of the market, such as Hektaş, Ferbis, Areo, Oyak Biyoteknoloji, Sunset, Tamek, and Sagra. OYAK has also recently acquired the Australia-based venture capital company Agriventis Technologies Pty Ltd developing seed that require less water, and Arma İlaç, which produces veterinary medical products in the area of animal health.
