The International Molecular Plant Protection Congress (IMPPC2019), chaired by Umut, was completed succesfully in Adana on April 10-13. Around 350 delegates from many different countries attended into the meeting. The opening lecture of the meeting was given by Dr. Gokhan Hotamisligil, Harvard University. Additionally, 40 Keynote speakers gave talks on the molecular plant pathology, entomology and weed sciences. 246 presentations have been made in total. The congress was a great success and the second one will be organized in 2021.
